A confidential service for individuals and couples

The Oxford Counselling and Psychotherapy Service was founded in 1994. This service, provided by a group of experienced practitioners, is committed to making counselling and psychotherapy available to individuals and couples.

The psychotherapist and counsellors working for the service are all members of professional organisations and work within the codes of ethics and practice of those organisations, details of which are available from the practitioners.

All practitioners are either:

  • qualified, and accredited with UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy), or BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy), or UKRC (United Kingdom Register of Counsellors)
  • qualified and working towards accreditation
  • experienced, with a minimum of 3 years training

The Oxford Counselling & Psychotherapy Service requires all practitioners to be in regular supervision.
