How does it work?In a reliable and confidential setting, you will be encouraged to use the sessions for reflection on whatever is on your mind, such as feelings, thoughts, memories, dreams. By listening, reflecting and questioning, the therapist/ counsellor tries to help you make sense of your experiences. As the relationship between you and the counsellor/therapist develops, you may discover new insights and different ways of being. The aim is to help people understand and accept themselves and to find their own resolutions to the conflicts and difficulties they experience. |
